To make bigos you should take:
- 2 kilos of cabbage
- 2 kilos of pickled-cabbage (I don;t know is it right in english - in german it's sauerkraut)
- 0,75 kilos of pork
- 0,5 kilo of sausage
- 0,5 kilo of smoked bacon
- some mushrooms
- salt, pepper,
- 0,25 kilo of onion
- some dried plums
- and you can add some red wine
You should boil a cabbage for a long time with lid put on the jug, than add salt, pepper, plums, etc and add the meat, that should be fried separetely. When everything is inside, boil it as long as you can
